Sean and Mark at 1 year

When Sean was tiny (well, not in comparison to other babies his size, but in comparison to adults), people kept commenting how similar he looks to Mark. At 3 months the resemblance was almost eerie. Now however, at 1 year old, my boys very much look like "their own person" in my opinion. Yes, they both have long eyelashes, a cleft chin, a gap between their front teeth, but overall their faces have completely different shapes. Either way, such cuties (I'm not biased).

Here is Mark on his first birthday, more than 4 years ago. What a cutie. It is amazing to me that he already looked so much like himself back then.

Here is Sean on his first birthday, just a month ago.

In Germany, virtually every little boy or girl has a "Bobby Car" - it's a ride-on toy that kids start out laboriously scooting along... and then can zip down hills at top speed several months later. Sean has started to enjoy playing in the back yard, and among other things has discovered the Bobby car. I did some digging for some old pictures of Mark on the Bobby car.

Here is Mark, on his 1st birthday. Sorry for the horrible lighting...

And here is Sean on his birthday, on the same Bobby car.

Each of my boys is such a wonderful blessing. I love watching them grow!
