Mark, Sean, and 10 piggies

Mark prefers to do "This little piggie" on Sean's hands, because he thinks Sean's feet are too smelly. :oD

Ben and Sean talking

This is the man who swore up and down that he would NEVER talk baby talk. Full sentences, Sweetie! Full sentences!

We love our Grampa G!

Grampa stayed with us for a few days, and we got the treat of spending some time with him in the evening!

Star Wars Morality

Mark: "Momma I feel sad."
me: "what are you sad about?"
Mark: "I made a bad decision... I kind of pushed Holden."
me: "What can you do about that?"
Mark: "...tell Holden I'm sorry... and not do it again."
me: "I'm sorry you pushed Holden, but I'm really happy that you felt this bad about it. That means your conscience is growing."

Mark: (with enthusiasm) "Yeah! Just like Darth Vader before he died!"

Sean coo-ing

Sean likes to "talk" to us now - and when someone is reading a book or having a conversation, he participates with lots of gusto! See for yourself...

Some cuteness for Gramma

Just to hold Gramma over for the 9 days until she sees us, here are a few pictures:

...the coziest place in the world!!!

Merlin the Nanny-cat doing his job. He guarded baby-Mark like this too.

Sean smiling during tummy time - who could resist? But careful... he drools!

Sean's 2-month-check-up

Today we went to the doctor so Sean could have his 2-month check-up and vaccines, and Momma and I also got our flu shots.
Sean is doing really great, has excellent muscle tone, and is growing really well. He weighs a whopping 14lbs (6.4kg) and is 26.75 inches (68cm) long... a loooooong little boy (93rd percentile for weight, 150th percentile for height). This is the average weight of a 4-month-old and the average height of a 7-month-old. My little brother is not so little!

Sean and I love each other a lot. He smiles at me more than at anyone else, and I love to hold him or snuggle with him. I can't wait for him to be big enough to play with me!

Grampa Bradley's twin sister Lou sent me this cool cool Canada shirt. Thank you!

My favorite thing to do right now is to build with LEGOs.

Sean loves it when I lie down on the floor with him!

...and he gets really happy and excited when Momma, Dad, or I talk to him or sing to him. He squirms and kicks and waves his little arms all over the place!

He even coos back at us with funny "nnnngah, gnnnngah" sounds.

As you saw in the video from a few days ago, the kitty likes Sean, and vice versa. My Momma shoos kitty away when Sean is sleeping, but when he is awake the kitty gets to play Nanny sometimes.

As much as Sean is a more demanding Baby than I was, he is a much deeper sleeper! A few days ago Sean fell asleep in Momma's arms. She put him down in the bouncer...

...then picked him up a while later...

...and put him on the big bed...

...where he continued to sleep.
When I was a baby, you couldn't move me while I was sleeping, no matter how tired I was. It made me pop awake instantly!

Anyway. Hope you enjoyed the pics... that's all for today!

Movie of Sean loving the Kitty

Sean has discovered the kitty - and like Mark at that age, LOVES him. He smiles at the kitty, and even has figured out how to grab those chubby hands into his fur. Merlin likes him, too, and frequently plops down near him. See for yourself:

Our last week...

We have had a good, but busy last couple of days. Here some pictures:

Sean is 8 weeks old, and likes to make faces. Here he is mildly amused at something, but has not deemed it worthy of a REAL smile.

Sean's focusing face... also known as the poopy face...

Zzzzz.

Sean has also learned to suck on his fist. He does it a lot!

I got to go to the arcade with my friend William last weekend!

I had fun playing Star Wars.

We also had several Halloween-events and parties...

Trick or treat!

Momma was "Poison Ivy" from the Batman movie for the 'Villain'-themed party we went to. Dad was Captain Hammer from Dr. Horrible's Singalong-blog.

Momma dyed her hair red (ginger) again, too...for the first time in nearly 10 years!

Sean being cute...

...still cute...

...still cute! (but a bit tired)
