Pumpkin!
With Halloween coming up this weekend, my Momma and I decided it was time to carve my pumpkin.
After Momma cut out the lid, I got to pull out the yucky slimy insides...
...it was disgusting... and fun!
Look at all this! We kept the seeds for roasting later.
Sorting out the seeds was pretty tedious.
I wanted a happy pumpkin... here is the end result!
I like my pumpkin! And when Momma let me pull out the insides it made me feel very big!

Brother, I love you!
This morning Momma asked me to help keep Sean happy while she got dressed, and I asked her if I could hold Sean. It was fun to hold him, and he beamed at me when I talked to him and squirmed with delight when I smiled back at him. It made me feel so proud to be a big brother!
I know that it is important to be gentle to babies.
...and babies like being talked to.
It makes me feel so big to hold little Sean!!

Sean grinned and beamed up at me while I held him!
I love you little brother!

...week 6!
As my Great Gramma Rumely pointed out, Sean is changing much faster than I am, so my Momma shouldn't feel bad for taking more pictures of him. In fact, Momma took more than 5000 pictures of me before I was 6 months old... a number she is unlikely to reach this time. :o)
Anyway, Sean turns 6 weeks old tomorrow. He is getting cuter by the minute, and likes to smile at people when he isn't tired or hungry. Momma had to put all the size 0-3 month clothes away because they are too small... as Gramma says: "Sean is a looong drink of water!"
We are starting to get more of a routine at home, and as of this week, Holden comes to our house on Wed and Fri.
Here are some pictures for you to enjoy from the last week.
...Sean is starting to look a bit more like a baby and a bit less like a little old man!
I'm having so much fun building things out of legos!
We had a wonderful weekend with Gramma... come visit us again soon!
...me at the top of the climbing wall at the park...
Sean chillin'
Sean zooming in on Momma during tummy-time. When something interests him (or he is hungry) he points his upper lip like a little beak. I used to do that too.
...woah there, Sean just got blurry! He's still cute though...
Sean likes his little bouncer. Look at the pictures Momma took of him before breakfast today:

I definitely prefer a smiling, grinning Sean over an unhappy crying little Sean...
Sean is starting to make funny little noises at us. Then he smiles when we repeat his noises.
Oh, and look how coppery his hair is when it's freshly washed and the sun shines on it! We are curious to see what color his hair will end up being!

...I've been a brother for 3 weeks now!
...it is hard to believe that Sean is already 3 weeks old! This week has been busy, and Momma and Dad are pretty tired because Sean woke up more often thanks to his latest growth spurt. We are getting the hang of being a family of 4 though...
I know this pic is a bit blurry, but I'm showing my nice smile, so Momma likes it.
Sean is wearing his little fisherman-jumper today in honor of Grandpa Griffing.
Momma was chatting with my Aunt Hanna on the computer and had trouble figuring the webcam's normal display out. Hanna took some screen shots of some of the funny backgrounds...
I'm being a good big brother: I'm helping Sean stay happy during his tummy time.
...Sean thinks EVERYTHING is amazing!
...and I'm having fun playing with some of the baby toys!
That's all for now, folks...
