Bye, bye Sean's curls.... *sigh*

As promised, today was Hair Cut Time for Sean. It was hard for me to do - I really really LOVE his curls... seriously, who WOULDN'T love those strawberry blond curly-cues?! His hair was getting long though, and was getting caught in stuff while he played, and it was starting to catch fuzz and stuff in the back. Not to mention the people at the library, store and post office who were trying to guess his gender. It was time.

Here is the last picture of Sean right before his hair cut.

Sean wasn't thrilled to have someone cutting his hair, but he did really well. The trick was to cut wherever on his head he had facing towards me. Over time, all his hair was cut short.

We bribed Sean with raisins, holding them far away from him or down low to make him lean forward or bend down to reach them so I could cut the hair in the back. Every time I put a curl on the tissue, Sean exclaimed loudly, "Oh-oh!" (as in this picture)

All done! Sean looks older without his curly cues. Still cute, but different. I kinda hope his hair grows back curly...

*bye bye* Sean's curls...
