A Summer Afternoon in the Garden

We have had some lovely warm/hot late Summer days, and are so thankful for our shaded back yard. Last Monday (Labor Day) we spent a wonderful afternoon in our back yard.

Sean on his Bobby-car. He refuses to look at me while I'm trying to take pics... let's hope it's just a phase, cuz this Mamarazzi wants some good pics!

Mark on the tire swing

Ben making fire with a magnifying glass

Sean making mischief - I think he was turning the faucet on and off.

Sean watching Ben make fire with the magnifying glass. "Oh-oh! Hot!" he said

Both boys watching Dada make fire. Have I mentioned that Ben deserves the most-awesome-Dad award? I really love that he enjoys spending time with our boys.

Sean giving Ben some little twigs to burn

My blue-eyed boy... no digital enhancement necessary! Mark was twisting around and around, and was blowing raspberries at me while he did it. I just happened to get lucky on this one - there are about 10 others with eyes closed, tongue out, etc.

Sean playing in our sand table. Best $4 I ever spent at a garage sale. I need to get a new bag of sand though... it has a bad habit of disappearing over the course of several weeks

Another lucky (though slightly blurry) mid-twirl shot of Mark.

This man made FIRE! He must be POWERFUL! :)

Ha! I caught Sean by surprise before he could look away!
