The unfortunate side effect of him noticing more around him is that he has had some several-hour-long crying bouts in the evenings. Our guess is that he was processing all the stimulation, since he wasn't acting like he had a belly ache, and wouldn't calm down in our arms. Then all of a sudden it was as if someone flipped a switch, and he fell asleep, and slept through the night.

...just a few pics for Gramma...
We have had a good week. As you can tell by the fact that there are 3 (three!) new blog posts, things weren't too busy, either.
Sean has suddenly become much more aware of his surroundings this week. He frequently interrupts nursing to look around or 'talk' to whoever is nearby, and he has learned to grab things with his feet. That's right... not with his hands, with his FEET! I'll try to catch it on video: he concentrates really hard, and then brings both feet up and together while curling his toes, trapping the toy dangled above him.

Mark doesn't like having his picture taken right now, unless he gets to make a silly face. So I had to be sneaky to take this one... he has had fun this week playing with his friends, and is SO excited about his Advent-Calender!
...and just for Gramma, here is a very milk-drunk little guy. Explanation for everyone else: right after a meal Sean is always SO sated that he basically passes out.
